matkasm applies layered security practices across every account. Here is what that means in practical terms — from how your data is stored to how you request changes.

Data Encryption

All personal data you submit — name, contact details, payment identifiers — is encrypted at rest and in transit using TLS 1.3. We do not store raw payment credentials from UPI or PhonePe transactions on our servers.

Cookie Management

We use session cookies to keep you logged in and analytics cookies to understand how pages are used. You can withdraw cookie consent at any time via the preference panel in your account settings without affecting core functionality.

Account Security

Two-factor authentication is available for every account and is strongly encouraged. Login attempts from unrecognised devices trigger an email alert to your registered address so you retain visibility over account access.

Data Retention

We retain account records for the period required under applicable law and our licensing obligations. Transactional records — including Paytm and UPI deposit history — are kept for a minimum of five years from the transaction date.

Account Closure and Deletion
